Over twenty years ago, in the Gobi Desert, my mother Odonchimeg began making clothing from the camel and yak wool that lets nomadic herders endure winters of -50°C. In 2007 she founded the brand Mcashmere; today I carry her craft to North America as Gobi Grace. It's a story about a fiber, a family, and a place — and how warmth travels from the steppe to you.
