Camel Wool
Mongolian camel wool is a truly unique fiber. Unlike most types of wool, it does not shrink—even if machine washed in warm water. In fact, camel wool garments naturally relax and stretch slightly over time with wear and washing. For this reason, we recommend choosing one size smaller than your usual size.

If your new garment feels snug at first, don’t worry—within hours of wear, it will gently stretch and mold to your body for a perfect fit. Camel wool also becomes softer and more luxurious after repeated washing (machine washable at 85°F / 30°C). However, because it is a fine wool, avoid excessive friction—such as wearing camel wool socks directly on rough floors—to prevent premature wear.

Yak Wool
Yak wool has different properties. Unlike camel wool, it can shrink slightly over time, so we recommend choosing one size larger than your usual size, and hand-wash at 85°F / 30°C to prevent shrinkage. Known for its exceptional softness and warmth, yak wool rivals cashmere in luxury. Its natural insulation is unmatched, as yaks thrive in the extreme cold of Mongolia’s high-altitude regions.

Thank You For Shopping Responsibly

Every purchase you make directly supports the resilient nomadic communities of the Gobi region.

From the vast steppes of Mongolia, our wool is gathered responsibly, with deep respect for the land and the animals. Every piece is created to last, reducing waste and honoring a cycle that is as natural as it is enduring.

Our artisans carry forward centuries of tradition, blending ancient techniques with modern design. Each garment tells the story of nomadic life, where resilience, skill, and respect for nature shape every thread.

Mongolian Camel and yak wool are among the world’s rarest natural fibers—lightweight, breathable, and warm. Their unique softness make every Gobi Grace piece a timeless investment in comfort and elegance.
